5 Uses For Hyde’s Banana Knives
by Hyde on Feb 3, 2017 2:12:00 PM
Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions list five uses for its banana knives. In fact, Hyde produces the world’s finest quality banana knives.
We make our banana knives from quality high carbon steel and stainless steel.
They are flexible but strong, two characteristics that are important in a banana knife.
As for their handles, they come in special hardwood and poly foam.
Hyde’s Catalog of Banana Knives
- De-handing knives – 9-1/2″ overall length
- Selecting knives – 7″ and 7-3/4″ overall length
- Floating selecting knives – 7-3/4″ overall length
- De-handing, de-leafing, and pruning knives – 11-1/2″ overall length
We love our banana knives and we think you will too. They are a great product.
That’s why we thought it would be a great idea to list five uses for our banana knives. Some of the five are conventional, while a few are a result of us thinking out of the box.
- To Cut Bananas
We might as well start with the obvious use, to cut bunches of bananas off banana trees. To do this, plantation workers need a quality knife that’s flexible, but strong. This allows users to wield the knife with greater control. The greater control means less damage to fruit still on the tree. Less damage to fruit still on the tree means greater yield. Greater yield means more money.
- To Cut Other Fruit
Hey, if it works for bananas it can work for other fruits too. Any fruit that needs to be harvested off a tree or vine can be harvested by Hyde’s banana knives. Again, our design ensures greater control and that control means higher yields.
- Pruning
You don’t need to own a plantation to take advantage of our banana knives’ strength, flexibility, and durability. All you need is a garden. Hyde’s banana knives are great for pruning bushes, shrubs, and small trees.
- Collector’s Item
Do you have a friend or loved one who collects knives? Do you collect knives? Expand any knife collection with one of our banana knives (or all our banana knives). Don’t forget to pick up a sheath. Our banana knife sheaths are made from leather and have a loop to slip onto a belt.
- For The Boat
Our poly foam handles float, which makes them great to use around selection tanks on banana plantations. It also makes them great for boats. Sure, they aren’t the best utility knife around, but you don’t have to worry about them sinking when cleaning the catch of the day.
