The process of manufacturing your circular knife begins by filling out Hyde’s “Request for Quotation” form. Once you have the form filled out, send it to us. Don’t worry, the “Request for Quotation” form is fairly straightforward. It’s certainly easier to fill out then any form created by the IRS.

Our form will ask you for your circular knife’s basic information like thickness, diameter, and centerhole. It will also ask you for the quantity of knives you need and the type of steel you want.

You’ll also need to tell us your blade’s bevel width or angle, and whether or not you want a single or double bevel. You’ll also need to know its edge thickness (if the blade isn’t honed).

To help Hyde make the best circular blade possible, the form asks how your circular knife will be used (“application description”).
