Hyde’s New Packaging Improves Safety and Convenience for Textile Mill Knives

There are lots of ways you can describe mill knives, circular blades, and other tools made by Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions. You can describe them as spectacularly well-made, of the highest quality, tools of the trade, and if you’re more of a person-of-few-words, awesome.

There’s another way you can describe Hyde IBS’ products and that’s they’re a great value.

Hyde’s knives and blades used in industrial machines are going to give you more cuts for your dollar than knives made by other manufactures.

Hyde’s hand knives are going to stay sharper longer, are going to last longer, and fit better in the hand than comparable products made by other manufactures. Again, all those qualities mean more cuts for your buck.

Bottom line, Hyde is all about providing its customers’ solutions. Most of the time, the solutions have to do with cutting materials but sometimes they’re about saving money, increasing convenience, and making things safer.

For example, and introduced just recently, is a new user-friendly packaging design for Hyde’s Wilson brand knives. These blades are used to cut a variety of cloths and textiles.

What do we mean by “user-friendly packaging?”

We mean packaging made from industrial-grade plastic that’s designed to take up less space and will help protect users when they retrieve a new knife.

Taking up less space means you have more room for other tools, or if you’re a distributor, you have more room for other products.

Protecting those who wield Hyde’s Wilson brand knives means they’re spending more time cutting, and less time getting bandaged.

To be specific, the new packaging has a molded double-sleeve that telescopes. This allows users to select knives with greater ease, and under safer conditions, than ever before.

Once a knife has been selected, the package can be resealed. It can be opened and closed thanks to a newly designed foam end cap closure. This allows unused knives to be kept safely in their original box. There’s no need to buy an extra container.

Best of all, the tips of the knives are protected. Thus ensuring that your blades will stay factory sharp.

The packaging has a horizontal shape with squared-off ends making them quite stackable.

You can now place more knives within the same space, or use less space to store the same number of knives. For both distributors and users, this can free up valuable inventory space on shelves and counters.
