Do you know that Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions manufactures shoe knives? Do you know what a shoe knife cuts?
Hyde started by making shoe knives. When Hyde first went into business, in 1875, it was making knives for the leather and shoe industry. Founder by Isaac P Hyde did everything back then from making the knives to distributing them.
Shoe knives cut leather and rubber. While shoe knives are used in the manufacturing of shoes, they are also used in any industry that needs to cut leather and rubber.
Hyde does high speed blanking. Not only does Hyde do high speed blanking, but high speed blanking is an actual thing. “Blanking” is punching a component piece out of a larger piece of raw metal. Hyde uses solar panels. Our Southbridge, Massachusetts campus uses 850 solar panels. It’s our way of lessening our carbon footprint and being a responsible corporate citizen.
Hyde manufactures diamond cores. Circular blades with diamonds cut some of the toughest materials on Earth. Hyde excels in making continuous rim steel cores and can manufactured them within plus or minus .0005″ in thickness. Again, Hyde doesn’t manufacture blades with diamonds, they manufacture blades that can hold diamonds.
Hyde does packaging. We’ve got you covered if you need your finished knives, blades, or tools packaged. Hyde can package your products in industry-grade or retail-style packaging.
Hyde uses lasers. How cool is that. Hyde Manufacturing uses lasers to cut parts. These parts hold close tolerances and their edges have a high-quality surface finish. Hyde recommends laser cutting on materials that are hard to cut and for intricate shapes.
